RV Roof Insurance Claim Repair in Florida
A storm, hail or a fallen limb damaged your RV roof. Whether the claim pays is up to your policy and your carrier. What we control is the documentation and the repair. Here are the steps, and what adjusters need to see.
What damage can lead to a roof claim
- Hurricane and tropical storm wind. Lifted edges, torn membrane, damaged vents
- Hail. Dents, cracks and punctures in the roof surface
- Fallen branches and flying debris. Punctures and crushed roof items
- Water intrusion after the damage. Soft spots and wet decking
Is that what happened to your roof?
The claim steps
- Stay safe, then photograph everything. Take wide and close photos of the roof, ceiling and any interior water marks. Keep damaged parts.
- Stop more damage. Most policies expect reasonable steps to prevent further loss, such as a temporary cover. Keep receipts.
- Report the claim. Call your carrier. Policies have notice requirements, so read yours or ask your agent.
- Get the roof inspected. We check the roof surface and test for moisture. Water damage often reaches past what is visible from above.
- Share the findings. Give the adjuster our photos and moisture findings.
- Agree on the scope. A line-item scope shows what will be repaired and why. Hidden damage found after work begins goes to the carrier as a supplement.
- Repair and report. We complete the work and deliver the completion report.
What adjusters need to see
- Dated photos and video before, during and after the work
- Deck and moisture findings from the inspection
- A line-item scope and invoice that match the work performed
- Materials used
- Warranty details

Two ways to work with us
- Your carrier sends the RV to us. We act as the repair vendor and deliver the report to the carrier.
- You work with your own carrier. We inspect, repair and give you the report and invoice to submit.
When the roof needs more than a patch
A seamless polyurea roof removes the seams where water gets in. Spray-on roofs are $300 per foot of RV length, $4,500 minimum. See spray-on RV roofs, what it costs and roof repair.
Questions
Does insurance cover RV roof replacement in Florida?
It depends on your policy. Storm, hail and falling-object damage are often covered under comprehensive coverage. Wear and age usually are not. Your carrier decides.
What does an adjuster need from me?
Photos, a repair scope and an invoice. Our completion report packages them with moisture findings and materials.
Can you work directly with my insurance company?
Yes, as the repair vendor for the carrier, or with you while you deal with yours.
Who decides whether the claim is paid?
Your carrier does, based on your policy. We document the damage and the work. We do not adjust claims.
What if more damage is found during repair?
We document it and send a supplement to the carrier.
Will it hold up in Florida heat and rain?
Polyurea cures into one flexible membrane built for heat and heavy rain, with no sealant lines to crack. Your RV is prepped for its roof surface and sprayed indoors in a temperature-controlled shop.
